It's been Home to so many of us, and to quote my good friend Sole -
"so many people, so many memories".
I think this holds true for most of us. I truly believe peoples paths cross for a Reason, Season or a Lifetime. I have made friends here that I cherish. I have experienced the LoL, 'spit your coffee out' laughs and cried very Real tears. Enjoyed talented writers, that along with some valuable information gleaned, coupled with a bit intrigue & yes, even some utter disbelief. 'The Stream' will always hold a place in my heart, along with the many people I have been blessed to have met along it's far reaching and winding banks.
I never meant to be away for so long, like others I always thought I would come back whenever I could, or needed to. In the last year, - life took me away, I found I had to move from the place I had called home for 10 years, then I had to deal with a lawsuit with an dishonest individual, and right now at work - we are staring down contract Strike (yep, I work with more than a few idiots). Can't say the past year has been all that good by any means, I simply just haven't had time or energy to Blog. Tho I have quietly looked in ... to check & see that everyone is for the most part all right. It was truly sad to see the Stream all but 'dry up', to look at the recently updated page now, only a handful of real blogs are still around. But, since we are all too soon going to be Blogstream Refugee's, and knowing no other site will ever be like this one,
I opened up a Life's Lessons Endings & Beginnings over at Blogspot .
(since I already know how to use it) ,tho it may be kinda empty for a while. I transferred my Music blog, Just Add Water there also...because those old Finetune Playlist codes that are embeded still work & I still listen to them.
I'll really miss the Creativity that I was afforded here... I so enjoyed playing with the Backgrounds ( got pretty good at it too & learned a lot with great help of friends ). I didn't know I had the 16th most popular blog, only one spot away from the front page's
"Most Popular Blogs " list - with 53,753 visitors, from all over the world. I never paid much attention to that , I just knew I had great friends.
We were a part of something very special here. We owe a big Thankyou to John/Pioneer for providing us with this playground.
We really did have some FuN here didn't we ?
And so with that it ends, come April 30th 2011 - with the flip of a switch , *Poof*
into the Black Hole of the Blogstream Triangle all this will be gone ....
And yes, I will miss it .

Yep, the Clock is Ticking.... here it is the End of This Year - AT LAST !!! ...Yes, it would also appear I missed 'Christmas' ...despite my best intentions of being here, Time was simply not cooperating with me. Actually Time & My ISP who actually went belly up/bankrupt - I'm not even sure HOW I'm here NoW...My acct doesn't belong to anyone, I suppose I'm in Internet limbo I'm guessing, till they pull the plug ....No One knows ???
Sooo... After Settling in, having had my Traditional 'New Year's Eve Dinner' of Egg Roll & Fried Rice, along with the ALL IMPORTANT Fortune Cookie
We are now sipping a 'Very Berry' wine cooler :) and will now embark on visiting my dear blog buddies, who no doubt think I've fallen into a blackhole somewhere???...well, I kinda/sorta have....but I CAN Explain..... ReaLLY ....
