Something to Keep in Mind ~

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a
well. The animal cried piteously for hours as
the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the
well needed to be covered up anyway;
it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and
help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began
to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the
donkey realized what was happening and cried
horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he
 quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally
looked down the well. He was astonished at what
he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his
back, the donkey was doing something amazing.
He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel
dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it
off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey
stepped up over the edge of the well and
 happily trotted off!

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds
of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well
is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of
our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out
of the deepest wells just by not stopping,
never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

Free your mind from worries - Most never happen

Live simply and appreciate what you have.

 Give more.

 Expect less

       Now PAY ATTENTION ..........

 The donkey later came back,
and bit the farmer who had  tried to bury him.
The gash from the bite got  infected and
the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock.
 MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON:

When you do something wrong, and try to cover
your ass, it always comes back to bite you.

Michael Bublé ~

Michael Steven Bublé was born in Burnaby, British Columbia. Bublé grew up listening to his grandfather's collection of jazz records, and on his website he highlights the importance of his grandfather in encouraging his musical tastes. "My grandfather was really my best friend growing up. He was the one who opened me up to a whole world of music that seemed to have been passed over by my generation. Although I like rock and roll and modern music, the first time my granddad played me the Mills Brothers, something magical happened. The lyrics were so romantic, so real... the way a song should be for me. It was like seeing my future flash before me. I wanted to be a singer and I knew that this was the music that I wanted to sing." Bublé's grandfather encouraged him to learn the standards that he loved and to enter a talent contest in Vancouver which he won before a later disqualification for being underage. Not discouraged, he won first prize in a Canadian Youth Talent Search at the age of seventeen

 Dolly Sods in Fall ~

You may have seen on the news, the last few days. In the next county over, about 30 minutes from here. We had a Missing Teen Autistic Hiker, Thankfully he was found 4 Days Later, almost to the hour of which he came missing. This is the area in which the Family was Hiking.

Those  that have visited Dolly Sods know it's a special place.. For those who haven't, you should especially during the fall . You can see the blue berries bushes as the turn from green to red. The brilliant red color lasts for only several days before it starts to turn a dull brown. There are millions of these bushes which turn the ground cover into a sea of red. The Mountain Ash tree also displays red berries which add to the color. Add this to the contrasting dark green of the Red Spruce trees and you can understand the phrase "Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.”
